As Sandy got out of his van and walked closer to the burnt house, he saw a child laying down on the ground. Long, curly, red hair - probably the daughter. Putting a hand on the still intact fence that enclosed the garden, he made sure he saw the child breathe before he acted as if the house wasn't a pile of ashes and called out :
